Free Software

Computing should be secure and easy but many people's lives are made more difficult because this is not the case for them. Every day, the majority of computer users make exceedingly poor choices such as those to use proprietary software like Microsoft's Windows operating system, Apple's OS X operating system, Microsoft's Internet Explorer browser or Apple's iTunes media player. These programs are black boxes of mystery laden with restrictions that dictate how the user has to operate and this "one size fits all" approach to computing is sorely misguided, clearly detrimental and unnatural (see biodiversity). Here I offer some free open source software for use and some services running on free open source components.
